The annual Lyrid meteor shower is expected to peak overnight tonight with the best viewing just before dawn on Thursday. The skies should be clearing as the night goes on and the moon should have set by midnight, though it will be getting chilly overnight with temperatures dipping into the 40's.

As always, the fest will be held on the Old Pool Farm, in Upper Salford Township near Schwenksville, PA, on August 13-16. The building that housed the historic Philadelphia International Records and Sigma Sound Studios will meet its fate on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as the wrecking ball makes way for a planned 47-story hotel and luxury apartment building.
