Walla Fest returns this weekend and for the first time since its inception four years ago it will not be held at Norristown's Centre Theater. Creators Keba Robinson, Yesenia Bello, and Ant Bui decided to make the geographical move in the name of progress but the concept of the event and the overall vibe of the experience will remain the same. Dr. Dre has announced that he will be donating all of his artist royalties from his new album Compton to charity. The money will got towards funding a performing arts facility in Compton. "Queen of Peace/Long & Lost" is a 10-minute short film that fits in a greater series of short films by Florence Welch. Each have been directed by Vincent Haycock. This is Chapter 4 & 5. Janet Jackson has shared the video for the remix of "No Sleeep" featuring J. Cole. The original cut will be included on her upcoming unnamed album. Directed by Dave Mayers, the laidback, late night, R&B jam is set in tony pad. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis produced the track. Metric has released the third single from their upcoming new album Pagans in Vegas due out September 18th. "Too Bad, So Sad" is a simple synth-heavy track with a driving rhythm that pushes the momentum full forward. The accompanying video is minimalist, featuring only a wireframe boombox and lyrics for the chorus. Others have also pointed out there's a Blur-esque "Woo hoo!" that starts the hook.
