Andy Reid said he's confident Vick would start against the Jets Sunday even though Vick watched practice from the sideline this week.

The Eagles are still clinging to playoff hopes despite a 5-8 record. They’ll need Vick to be sharp this week against one of the toughest defenses in the NFL.

Vick showed plenty of rust against the Dolphins. He completed just 15 of 30 passes and threw another interception. But he still made enough plays to help lead Philadelphia to... Read More

The Philadelphia Phillies have traded OF Ben Francisco to the Toroto Bluejays for left-hander Frank Gailey.

Ben Francisco joined the Phillies in 2009 as part of the trade with the Indians that also originally brought over Cliff Lee. Last year, Francisco started the season in right field to replace the lost Jayson Werth, however he returned to his reserve/pinch hit role by mid season. In the 2011 NLDS Game 3, he hit a 3-run pinch hit home run against the St. Louis Cardinals.Read More

Asked after the Eagles most recent loss to the Seattle Seahawks about his play, quarterback Vince Young though he played okay, he just needs to take care of the ball. What? Young threw 4 picks on the losing end of a blowout and he thinks he played okay? Wrong answer.

This from CSN Philly:
Bad judgment has been the story of Vince Young’s season. Whether it was back at Lehigh, when he called the Eagles “a Dream Team,” or on the football field, where his... Read More

Eagles Andy Reid Days Numbered?

  by: Rebel - Havertown, PA
started: 11/28/11 7:42 am | updated: 11/28/11 7:42 am

Sunday's Eagles loss to the Patriots has fans hot...so hot that a "Fire Andy" chant filled the air of the stadium during the game.

Two home wins and eight home losses in the past year. The Eagles are 4 - 7... and will most likely not be in any kind of playoff hunt this year.

Who's the fall guy? Andy Reid? Juan Castillo? A short week and a Thursday night road game in Seattle won't heal these wounds. Can it get any worse?
