Police released new surveillance footage of a Bucks County woman's car shortly after she was last reported seen earlier this month. The image shows 26-year-old Cassandra "Casey" Johnston's car approaching I-95 on Vine Street in Center City Philadelphia. Johnston was last seen leaving a friend's house that Saturday morning, 7/10, around 5:30 a.m. near 12th and Vine. Hazy skies across the Delaware Valley are being blamed on smoke from wildfires in western Canada. The smoke is being carried across the continent on the jet stream and settling high the atmosphere above us causing that haze. The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert because of the smoke. "A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups." Those people should limit their time outdoors. A... A husband and wife were killed and a neighbor was injured in a residential house fire in Berks County early Sunday morning. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on the 100 block of Orchard View Drive in Amity Township. Firefighters found the bodies of Henry J. Fordham, III and his wife Sharon Fordham in a second floor bathroom. A neighbor had tried to save the couple, but was injured after escaping through a second floor window. A teacher's aide in Bucks County has been arrested for sexually assaulting a male student. 38-year-old Jennilynne M. Derolf is charged with felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, and institutional sexual assault and misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors. One man is injured after an argument inside Chickie's and Pete's in Mayfair led to a shootout outside the bar/restaurant. It happened just before 8 p.m. on the 4000 block of Robbins Avenue near Frankford Avenue. A 23-year-old man and his girlfriend were dining outside. A New Jersey man charged with kidnapping his son and prompting a multi-state Amber Alert last Friday, 7/8, is now charged with the murder of the boy's mother. 27-year-old Tyler Rios of Highland Park abducted 2-year-old Sebastian Rios and 24-year-old Yasemin Uyar from their home in Rahway. Three people have been charged in the drive-by shooting of a 10-year-old Vineland, New Jersey girl on the night of July 4th. Jasayde Holder was visiting her grandmother on the 700 block of W. A Mount Laurel man recently caught on viral video harassing and shouting racial slurs at his Black neighbors will remain behind bars pending trial. Superior Court Judge Terrence Cook said that 45-year-old Edward Cagney Mathews poses "high risk of danger to the community."
