Two of the suspects in the deadly beating of a soccer fan at Pat's King of Steaks last week are now in police custody. 32-year-old Omar Arce and 33-year-old Jose Alberto Flores-Huerta are charged with murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and related offenses in the death of 28-year-old Isidro Cortes of Queens, New York. Drag racing activity drew a large crowd near Temple University's North Philadelphia campus early Sunday morning, 9/19. It happened around 12:30 a.m. at North Broad and West Oxford Streets. The road was blocked by a large crowd of perhaps hundreds of people. Cars were performing spinouts and donuts in the middle of the intersection. One person was struck by a car and injured. The parking lots at the Wells Fargo Center will no longer accept cash starting this weekend, Saturday, 9/18. They will take all major credit cards as well as digital payment services like Apple Pay and Google Pay. The lots in question are Lots A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. Bensalem Police are searching for a pair of thieves wanted for stealing catalytic converters from several transportation vans at a senior center last month.
