Authorities in Montgomery County are searching for a female suspect who is wanted for shooting her mother's fiance in the lobby of a Lower Merion apartment complex on New Year's Eve. 24-year-old Samiyah Williams is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and possessing an instrument of crime in the death of 49-year-old Adrionne Reaves. The Philadelphia Mummers Parade has been moved to Sunday, January 2 due to the forecast for rain on New Year's Day. The schedule for the String Bands, Comic, and Wench Brigades march down Broad Street will remain the same, just shifted one day. The Fancy Brigades will still perform Saturday's ticketed shows at the Pennsylvania Convention Center at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. since those are inside. A commissioner of a Delaware County township has been arrested by Philadelphia police for a 2017 sexual assault. 50-year-old Marvin Smith is charged with rape, sexual assault, luring, and related offenses. He is the 1st ward commissioner in Darby Township. The attack allegedly occurred in August 2017. The victim went to police in April 2019 to report the crime. Police in Bucks County are searching for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run accident that killed a man on Christmas Eve. It happened shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, 12/24, on State Road near Fourth Avenue. 65-year-old John Dugan was crossing the street with his fiance when he fell. Three people died in a fiery crash at a toll booth on the Atlantic City Expressway in Atlantic County on Sunday evening, 12/26. A team official has confirmed that the New Jersey home of Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey caught fire on Christmas Eve. It happened around 7 p.m. Friday night on the first block of Fairway Drive in Voorhees, Camden County. The multi-alarm fire drew a large response from fire crews. No one was injured. The team is making sure that Maxey and his family have everything they need. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
