Philadelphia Police are looking for five suspects wanted for robbery and assault at a Kensington gas station last Friday, 1/24. It happened just after 11:30 p.m. at the Sunoco on the 2100 block of Allegheny Avenue. An argument started when employees attempted to stop two men from leaving the store without paying for items. A women in the store entered the argument and two more men joined from outside. The suspects then began to vandalize the store. They knocked over shelves and poured soft drinks on the floor. The employees were assaulted. One suffered a broken nose and busted lip. Some of them helped themselves to items as they exited. If you have any information contact the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243.

Philadelphia Police say that a father made up a story that his 4-year-old son was shot and killed in a home invasion early Thursday morning, 1/30. The boy had actually accidentally shot himself in the head while playing with a gun. Police were called around 1 a.m. to the 2100 block of North Lambert Street for the report of a home invasion. 28-year-old Edward Williams Sr. told responding officers that an intruder had shot 4-year-old Edward Williams Jr. The boy was rushed to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children where he was pronounced dead. Investigators found no signs of forced entry in the home and no signs of a struggle. They determined that the boy found the gun in a closet. Williams Sr. had several prior arrests and was not permitted to possess a gun. A younger brother was also home at the time. He was uninjured. The child's mother was at work. The investigation is ongoing.

Chester Police are searching for a 14-year-old wanted for shooting the driver of a car in the back of the head while the boy was sitting in the back seat. It started around 5 p.m. Wednesday, 1/29, near 3rd Street and Highland Avenue in Chester. Police responded to reports of shots fired in that area. They then got a call of a car accident near 3rd and Wilcox Streets. Authorities say that Zhafir Tinsley-Jones shot and killed 79-year-old Robert Womack while they were traveling in Womack's Chevy Impala. The car crashed into several vehicles and Zhafir fled. Womack was pronounced dead at the scene. The motive is unclear. The investigation is ongoing.
