Funeral Arrangements for Philadelphia Firefighter Lt. Matt LeTourneau Released

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Philadelphia firefighter Lt. Matthew LeTourneau. Matt died while fighting a row home fire on the 2200 block of N. Colorado Street on the morning of Saturday, January 6th 2018.

Two public viewings will be held for Philadelphia Fire Lt. Matt LeTourneau at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, followed by a funeral mass. The Cathedral is located at 18th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.

Public Viewings

Thursday, Jan. 11: 4:30 to 9 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 12: 9 a.m.

Funeral Mass

Friday, Jan. 12: 11 a.m.

Internment will follow the mass at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.

Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all Pennsylvania commonwealth flags to be flown at half mast starting Tuesday and noon through sunset on Saturday, January 13th. "We are mourning the tragic death of Lt. Matthew LeTourneau from injuries received battling a significant fire over the weekend," Wolf said. "I urge all Pennsylvanians to join me in keeping his family, his colleagues and all our first responders in your thoughts. His sacrifice for his fellow citizens will not be forgotten."
