A Montgomery County jury took a little more than 6 hours over two days to find a longtime defense attorney guilty of raping a client after she passed out in her apartment. 57-year-old Vincent Cirillo Jr. was convicted of guilty of Rape of an Unconscious Person and Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse. The incident happened in August 2015. Cirillo claimed in his defense that the encounter with the 22-year-old woman was consensual. He had pled guilty back in October to avoid facing the more serious charges, but withdrew his plea to go to trial. The two felony charges carry 10-20 years in prison. Cirillo is facing another trial in which he is accused of impersonating his accuser's lawyer to gain access to records.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was shot in the back in Point Breeze/Newbold on Wednesday afternoon. It happened on the 1500 block of South Bancroft Street. The teen was shot twice in the back. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he died. No arrests have been made.

The PPA will ticket just about anyone in Philadelphia, even the head of the Police. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross was at the Bellevue Hotel on South Broad St. this morning for a speaking engagement. He parked his vehicle with special "Official Business Police Commisioner" stickers in a rush hour lane. That lane is restricted with no stopping between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The Philadelphia Parking Authority slapped him with a ticket. Ross has already paid it.
