SUV With Baby In It Stolen; Man Shot And Killed In S.W. Philly; Second Ruling For 'Bridgegate'

Philadelphia Police are now searching for a suspect that they say stole a SUV with a baby inside of it on Thursday night. The incident happened near 8th and Snyder streets at around 5:30 pm on Thursday evening. Police say that the suspect jumped in the SUV and that it had the 19-month baby in the back seat. The suspect drove the car for about 10 minutes until the child in the car seat was dropped off unharmed a few blocks away. The suspect is still at large, and it is unknown if the suspect knew the victim. Video surveillance of the suspect has been released. Watch that video below.

Police are now investigating after a man was killed in a shooting while sitting in a car in Southwest Philadelphia on Thursday. The shooting took place on the 1800 block of South 58th Street. Police say that someone walked up to the car and shot the victim multiple times at point blank range. Police arrived on the scene to find the victim lying on the street. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he later died of his injuries. Police are still searching for the suspect responsible.

A New Jersey municipal judge will decide next week whether or not a complaint filed against New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in the 'Bridgegate' scandal can proceed to a second ruling. Municipal Court Judge Roy McGeady will now take a second consideration of the complaint filed by a retired Teaneck fireman. The ruling in October stated that there was a case against the Governor when he failed to act after several lanes were closed on the George Washington Bridge three years ago. The Governor stated that he wants the whole case thrown out.
