A hot air balloon made an unexpected landing at a park on Wednesday afternoon. The balloon landed at McKinley Playground at C and Westmoreland Streets in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The balloon reportedly had the proper clearances to fly in the air and was coming from Pottstown. The pilot stated that the balloon was supposed to make a landing at a Home Depot along Roosevelt Boulevard. No injuries were reported in the incident, and officials are continuing to investigate the landing.

Investigators have now stated that a 35-year-old man who shot two brothers who were trying to rob a pizza shop in Buck County will not be charged. The incident happened on Tuesday at Porfirio's II Pizza and Pasta on the 900 block of Veteran Highway at around 10 pm. Police say that 24-year-old Shawn Rose and 22-year-old Justin Rose came into the shop with what looked like handguns and demanded money from the employees. The brothers told the employees and the customer to get on the ground, and proceeded to beat up the customer. The victim was able to grab his gun and shoot both brothers, killing 24-year-old Shawn Rose, and leaving 22-year-old Justin Rose in critical condition. Officials say that the man had a license to carry a weapon, but his permit had recently expired. Bucks County DA stated that the victim's shooting was justifiable even though his permit was expired.
