Today was the big day and citizens all around the country went out to their designated polling area's to cast their vote for President of the United States, as well as other government positions. Voter turnout in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware was quite heavy. Polls opened at 7 a.m. sharp in PA, and lines were already long before the doors even opened in some locations. The city of Philadelphia excepted and received a big turnout today, especially since the SEPTA strike has ended, giving many voters a way to get to their polling area. Polling experts stated that the surrounding Philadelphia suburbs could be the biggest battleground for the candidates. Polls are open till 8 p.m. tonight, so if you haven't gotten the chance, make sure you get out and vote.

Eric Trump, Donald Trump's son is now under heat from the state of New York after he posted a picture of his filled out ballot on twitter this morning. Eric Trump tweeted the picture along with a caption saying "It is an incredible honor to vote for my father! He will do such a great job for the U.S.A! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain." The problem with the picture and tweet is, it is illegal for voters to post a picture of their completed ballots online. In New York, if a voter is caught posting a completed it is considered a misdemeanor and could face a $1,000 fine. Trump has since deleted the tweet.

A Pennsylvania woman is now in police custody after she had fed her 4-year-old stepson beans laced with hot sauce and laxatives. The woman reportedly fed the child this because she was frustrated after he was not doing well during his potty training. 31-year-old Danielle Miller is now facing aggravated assault, child endangerment, as well as other related charges. Along with Miller is the boy's father 30-year-old Nathan Duke who is now in custody on conspiracy and child endangerment charges. Police have also stated that Miller had locked the boy in a closet, teasing him, the boy was also found to have been beaten, burned, and bound by his Stepmom. Miller is now in custody at a Lancaster County jail, where she is unable to post a bond.
