A triple shooting in Northeast Philadelphia has left two injured and one teen dead. It happened around 9:10 p.m. Monday on the 3100 block of Stirling Street in the city's Mayfair section across the street from a playground and rec center. A 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest and 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach. They were both taken to the hospital. The 17-year-old died while the 16-year-old is in critical condition. A 21-year-old man was also shot in the neck. He ran four blocks to the 15th district headquarters to get help. He was taken to the hospital. Police found a revolver and other evidence at the scene. They are looking at surveillance from the area. No arrests have been made.

A southwestern Pennsylvania mother has been charged with endangering her 11-month-old baby by only feeding him a vegan diet of only fruits and nuts. Police say that 30-year-old Elizabeth Hawk of Farmington, Fayette County, was "obsessed" with the vegan diet. Her estranged husband contacted child welfare workers concerned about his son. The baby had developed rash so bad that he was stratching his skin off. The mother refused to use cream to treat it. Doctors say the child is developmentally disabled and malnourished. Hawk has a preliminary hearing on child endangerment charges on November 14th.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a burnt piece of paper was discovered in the gas tank of a cruiser. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the parking lot at the 35th District building on the 5900 block of North Broad Street in the city's Logan section. An officer noticed that the patrol car's gas tank was open. A burnt piece of paper was sticking out of the tank. There was no damage to the cruiser and the fire did not spread to the tank. The police and fire marshal are investigating the attempted arson.
