Dylann Storm Roof, the alleged gunman who killed nine people during a shooting spree at Charleston church could get the death penalty. 21 year old Dylann Roof will face a judge today at 2 p.m. for a bond hearing in South Carolina. According to a friend, Roof had told him several weeks ago that black people were taking over the world and that Roof said he had a plan.

Tomorrow, the historic George Washington Carver Community Center pool will host a party and fundraiser to try to get the Community Center back on its feet. The pool was closed last summer for the first time since it opened in 1960. Carver is the only public pool in Norristown and serves many low income families.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike will replace traditional toll collection with all-electronic tolling at the Delaware River Bridge, which connects Bristol, Pennsylvania, with Burlington Township, New Jersey. Motorists will no longer stop to pay tolls at the crossing, beginning in January 2016. They will pay the toll either with their E-ZPass account or they will get a bill in the mail after their license plate is photographed. The commission says the new system will reduce travel times, improve safety and reduce auto emissions.

Sports
The Phillies host the St. Louis Cardinals tonight.
